Connally scored in the 1st quarter when Rashon Sheppard ran an intercepted pass back for a 60-yard touchdown. PAT was good by Jordi Flores for a 7-0 lead. In the 2nd quarter the next score was by the Bears when Jovahn Jones caught a 14-yard pass from Calvin Hendricks. PAT was not good. Connally's Kordell Mathis caught a 42-yd pass from Robert Patterson and the half ended with Connally leading 13-6. Jaedon McGee scored for the Bears on a 9-yd interception. Jones ran for a 2 point PAT. Bastrop led 14-13. Connally's Ryan Walton ran for a 12-yd touchdown followed by 2pt PAT run by Paterson to take a 21-14 lead. Connally scored again on a Walton 26-yd run and a 28-14 lead. In the 4th quarter the lead went to 35-14 when Patterson ran for a 3-yd TD. Bastrop came back when Jones caught a 5-yd pass and the score now 35-21. Connally would score again and win 42-21 on a 6-yd run by Earnest Museu. PAT was good.
