The Bears marched early in the 4th quarter on a 70 yard drive with Homesley scoring on a 5 yard run but could not score again and the game ended 29-23. Bastrop led in first downs 21-15, rushing yards 276-183, and passing yards 184-180. Jacob Thomas led in rushing with 196 yards on 19 carries.
