Envision Central Texas needs your help. As a local citizen, your input is vital to the success of an upcoming neighborhood workshop where Envision Central Texas will work with the City of Bastrop to plan the future of undeveloped land on the city’s western edge. For details on the planning area, visit www.envisioncentraltexas.org/events.php. If you live, work or own property in the workshop area, your participation is critical to the success of this event. By sharing your thoughts on issues like transportation, the local economy, land use and the environment, you can create a lasting, positive impact for your family and your community. Please join us at Riverside Conference Center on Tuesday, April 1 from 6-10 p.m. where we will work in small groups to determine development options that make the most sense for the Bastrop community. Each group will share its ideas with others at the meeting, and together we’ll look for ways to combine possibilities to create the ideal plan for Bastrop’s growth. Please help us plan for the workshop and RSVP early by contacting Diane Miller at (512) 916-6037, or via e-mail at dmiller@envisioncentraltexas.org. Please participate in this exciting opportunity, and help decide what your future can be. GET INVOLVED-Help make planning work for you. Light refreshments provided. Learn more about Envision Central Texas at www.envisioncentraltexas.org. Thanks to outstanding public participation, Envision Central Texas is on course to develop an innovative, community-based vision for addressing the future growth of our region. From the public workshops conducted last fall in Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis and Williamson counties, we received input from more than 1,200 local citizens that is being incorporated into several regional growth scenarios. Once we complete scenario forecasting and modeling, we will again present them to the public for more feedback. Bastrop High School Class Reunions The Community |
